I would like to thank Birla M.F. for this initiative. I think all AMCs must pool their resources and take up Investor Education in a big way. The real problem today is that Middle Class is caught between too many so called "Financial Advisors" and though educated, these people are confused. Unfortunately in this confusion they lose out to the best tool i.e Mutual Funds because of the "Risk". This one word simply puts them Off. AMCs must explain the Risk Factors and also help investors properly understand other products.
