All this talk of Small/Mid Cap, Lowering CAD,falling Int Rates etc. shows a short term outlook and also projects ability to time the Market. Considering what MFs and advisors have gone through, one must be very careful on these matters.Advisors MUST bring investors with a long term view (Ten years plus). Making returns for clients during adverse market conditions may not prove a good idea in the long term. We do not need a better understanding of Markets we need to understand Financial Planning for clients.
Hats off to the contra view from Sankaran Naren. I always follow him in the monthly concall,website, articles etc which help me to place correct product to my customers. we sold Balance Adv Fund, Discovery, Top100 and generated returns for our clients at adverse market condition. NO need to mention about the stock picking ability of S.Naren. He has proved that he is the best Value Fund Manager in the country. Who ever is committing money to S.Narens Value fund - series 3 would benefit substantially over a 3 year period. Kudos to S.Naren and Team.
