Congratulations ICICI Pru AMC!!!! I think ICICI is the only AMC who are having this type of distributor engagement activity. I really liked the Tarakki Corner where they also highlight achievements of any IFA or there Family. Amar, I think you have missed this point as I think this is very unique. I really was thrilled to see the success stories of IFA Fraternity and there childrens. Keep it up. As an IFA we really feel part of a single family.

I think we have to stop investor or distributor awareness and start AMCs Sr. Management Awareness, as we all know that long term wealth is created by good consistent fund performance and not to launch such non useful closed ended schemes. It has only activated greedy distributors who were inactive and not quality distributors. We will not grow industries AUM by activating such greedy distributors and short sighted AMCs.

EXCELLENT comment Mr.Nilesh Kamerkar, you have hit the nail at the right spot. After years of thinking I have concluded that the AMCs are doing next to nothing to help the distributor in gaining confidence of the investors. Selling comes later. It is only now , slowly AMCs are realising that investor education is the ONLY Way. The only praise I have about ICICI AMC is that many of their schemes have done really well.

Large no. of distributors have bid good bye to distribution. Not many are eager to join MF distribution. Most of the existing distributors are struggling to survive. Not more than 1% would have scaled up their distribution setup in past 5 years. Therefore the question that needs to be raised is, Who all & How many are really benefiting from this higher level of engagement?
