This strategy will work and you have been lucky that it has partially worked due to the mega bull market we are currently in. However from an asset allocation point of view there is a limit which a customer can be allocated micro caps. The RM is very happy to tell us that the commission is higher than the last time. You should rather launch an open ended fund in this segment. As a distributor, I primarily promote SIP and refrain from recommending close-ended funds.
