Dear Abhenav Khettry There is no offence meant to FIFA or to any of its initiatives and I am genuinely happy for u as a group. We have an association here in Pondicherry - PIFAA. Our Annual membership per yr is Rs. 500 per member + one time enrollment fee of Rs.100.00. We have just completed 2 yrs since our registration. On an average we have 50 members enrolled per yr eventhough in our region there may be 30 more ifas. Atleast 50% of the members find this fee expensive and do not want it to be increased. Our total 1st yr fee income comes to Rs. 30000.00. If we pay a fee of Rs.25000 to join ur federation how do u think we will survive. Why have individual members seperately joining the federation?. It should be associations alone who should be the members and what about the voting rights etc. I think there is a lot of confusion here and do u have the controls to avoid duplication ?

Dear Mr Bhagat, The FIFA joining Fees is just Rs 4000 and Rs 1500 p.a. thereafter. IFA associations may join FIFA and the charges per member are very nominal. The joining fees is Rs 25000 and annual charges are Rs 100 per member per year. FIFA through its initiatives is doing a lot to improve the quality of IFAs and make our voice heard to industry association and regulator. Once you join FIFA, you may be able understand the value add. It is a misconception that FIFA is a big boys club, it includes IFAs from various backgrounds and strata. This article only highlights the achievements of members of the group as a whole. It is a proud moment for all of us to be associated with FIFA to have been honored and felicitated by Wealth Forum. Best Regards.

I do not think there is anything to highlight in that the FIFA members have taken the max. awards. Basically the FIFA members are well performing IFAs ( individual IFAs i think pay a fee of Rs. 10000.00 pa). Their getting the awards is due to their own efforts and strategy and congratulations to them on their acheivment. I do not think there is any contribution of FIFA on this issue. A Federation should be such as to include all strata of IFAs ( preferably the various IFA associations ) around the country so that we have maximium IFA membership so that their voice is the real voice of the IFA community and they are able improve their business performance due to the Federation through knowledge seminars. Basically membership should be affordable to the average IFA.

It’s great! This information is of no use which is very uncharacteristic of VW What is the common process all these winners are following and what is the FIFA contribution in it!
