very informative
Going further, I would like to salute our Senior members like Mr. Lakshmanan & others who have been the backbone of this Federation from day one having rendered selfless, unselfish service for the establishment of this Federation for the benefit of the IFA community. Their continuance of this effort should be a source of motivation for the younger IFAs to learn from them & do even better. The fact that they have put in lakhs of rupees personally for this effort must not go waste at any cost. I would, before I conclude, like to submit with utmost humility one very IMPORTANT POINT:- PLEASE ENSURE THAT OUR CONSTITUTION IS AN OPEN DOCUMENT FOUNDED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF EQUITY, FAIRNESS & ABOVE ALL NATURAL JUSTICE. IT MUST ENSHRINE PRINCIPLES WHICH WHEN THEY OUTLIVE THEIR UTILTY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT A GIVEN POINT OF TIME. While penning this I would like to state that I have not perused the Draft/ submitted document, which I hope to peruse in time to come.
I have read with rapt attention this article on the formation of a National Federation. What a stupendous effort! Individual & skeptical IFAs who have still not become members of their respective State Associations really need to give a hard look into it as they are really missing this initial action. Having attended every KAMFA convention at Bangalore (being a member of it from its very early stages), let me say today with pride that KAMFA in Karnataka is doing an outstanding job with an Annual convention every year in September (this year on Saturday 21st September), it being an increasingly resounding success where every member comes home rejuvenated & motivated to do better. I understand we have now reached 400+ as members till date & growing rapidly to becoming one of the biggest in the Country.
nice! congrats!
big step.i hope you must raise our problems properly and try to develope business.
You are doing good efforts for IFAs, congratulations
A positive good step in the interest of IFAs. THANKS
Mr Anandpraksah Khetan, Your point is taken care this is only initial committee as and when more associations join the board it will be altered accordingly and every zone will be given importance - Thanks to all the kind hearts who supported and encouraged us - Ramesh Bhat, General Secretary, FOMDAI
Good beginning. My bets wishes to the assocoation.
Dear Sir, Congratulations ! For A Step Ahed to Form A Fedration. The Executive Body should consist of Members from PAN-India, ie North East,West & South zones & not only from a particular region. In this regards I would like to suggest here that accross all 4 zones,At least One Precident & Two Executive Members should be appointed to represent the IFA Community from the particular zone.
It is a welcome initiative. I will be glad to become a member.
The srenghth and power of the Federation lies in the affiliating units. Therefore those who are not yet a part of any of the local IFA Association/s with in your state it is time to join such an Association which intend to become an affiliating unit of the Federation. If you are not able to find a local level association please contact Mr Mohsin Bijepuri, President, TNIFPA email id- mohsin.bijepuri@gmail.com who will offer TNIFPA membership until you have another affiliated unit in you State.
Dear Mr Advani D A of Nashik, you can join any of the member associations. Dear Mr Hari of Kochi , individuals cannot be a member of the federation, but you can join any of the member associations. From Kerala, AKIFAA is available. My dear friend Mr Munish Bansal, Pls note that there is no associations joined the federation from Uttar Pradesh as of now. There is an assocition in Allahabad which is about 400kms from you., try to join them if they are interested in join the FOMDAI.Or you are welcome to any member associations. Dear Mam Ms promila Bharadwaj, DFDA,Delhi is a Key supporter and one of the Core members who support from outside of the Federation,as I earlier mailed, you can join DFDA or join NIFAA, Chandigarh which is about 260 kms from you. If any of the friends have any querries pls contact me (samkoshy.cc@gmail.com)
Congrats on the Federation Formation! From now onwards its FOMDAI. "Federation of Mutualfund Distributor Associations in India". Lets hope and work for the better future of the IFA community. I appeal all IFAs to join for a debate which may make the draft byelaws of the federation a better one. We have got time till MAY 25.
Sir, I have only 1 point agenda of growth of mutual fund industry. Each and every Indian should invest in MF. There are requirement of 70 times more distributor to serve the entire nation. In long run DIRECT PLAN is going to harm our business. So direct plan has to abolish. Think seriously.
A very good step in the interest of IFAs. THANKS
Dear Mr.Munish Bansal from Etawah, As the President of the Tamilnadu unit, I was a participant in the Federation formation meeting at Cochin on 11th May.An individual cannot become a member of the Federation. However what has been proposed is that all unattached members can join the Tamil Nadu association until your town has its own association. You are most welcome to join us. Mohsin Bijepuri, President, TNIFPA, Tamilnadu Independent Financial Professionals Association.MOHSIN.BIJEPURI@GMAIL>COM
This is great stap for IFA professional. Many many thanks to those who are taking mile stone steps. This is the beganing and have to go long away for great success.
Congratulation.
Congratulation to all Core Body of Fedration of IFA...Best Wishes from PIAA ( Pune Investment Advisors Association ).
The move is welcome. The first and foremost thing that the Federation should do is get "trail only" model implemented. This will weed out the unscrupulous banking and corporate sector, who indulge in mis-selling and churning, from the market. Investors who are captive with these institutions are unable to do anything and remain mute spectators. This one step will bring in glory to the Federation through a vibrant set of IFAs. May be some small time IFAs will suffer initially, but in the long run, it will create a healthy team of IFAs whose only objective will be to create wealth for their investors and in the process for themselves. AMFIs code of ethics apart, the Federation should include in the constitution certain set of ethics which should be made mandatory for every IFA Assocation to be implemented amongst their IFA members.
Congratulations.. All the best for the Federation formation. My support for the initiative. Binoj K. G. VP - AKIFAA, Kochi MD, Moneybase Financial Advisors Pvt. Ltd. +91 9447721473

Congratulations for coming together for betterment of all IFAs and sincerely hope it will soon take concrete shape and be a single representative body to fulfill the needs of IFAs in India. I admire the spontaneous donations made by leading IFAs for general cause and they deserve appreciation.
It is a significantly great step towards making our profession really professional.. I am very proud to be present there when it took shape... Hope all the associations join hands for a nobler cause of making Indians Financially Literate...

A great begining to a long time vacum in this industry. Till date there was none to speak collectively for Pan India IFAs to the Regulators. Now the Silver lining is visible.
