What an absurd idea to pre-pay home Loan !!!!. Home loans are meant to be repaid over the entire tenure of 15 or 20 years. Since it is an asset backed loan , why the hurry to pre-pay it? Investing in MFs is a away to accumulate wealth over a period of time and many an advisor gets confused by mixing the two (Investing as against pre-paying home loans ) and thus confusing their clients as well. God save their clients !!!
