To me the undercurrent of this article seems to be true for success in any selling activity. Her , one important point picked up was investments above 2 lacs comes in AIR. This is very disappointing as, at one point, we encourage investor to put money in equity market through mutual fund route. And when he put money more than 2 lacs in mutual funds, he came across this type of harassment from I.T. deptt. there must be some solution for this grievance to make investor fearless and put more and more money in mutual funds.

sir, since you are engaging with CAs regarding AIR for mutual funds, can you pls. clarify whether the scrutiny cases are limited to single investments above Rs. 2 lakh or the total investments amounting to rs. 2 lakh per year. If we make multiple investments of rs. 1.9 lakh can we avoid scrutiny becuase IT officers in some cases are very demanding.

Article good and helpful. However it is only helpful to those whose clients are still with them and listening to what the IFA has to say. Getting a LISTENING EAR of a client old or new is the most important part. Clients are refusing to hear us out, 90% mistake is ours. How do we remedy our mis-selling deeds and get clients to LISTEN ?
