Sir Congratulations for building a great business. However I find that those who have worked with AMCs or Insurance companies do have an edge. I totally agree that one must learn and study to become knowledgeable. Gaining Trust of the Client (retail or HNI ) is the KEY to success, however this is slow, requires patience and investment. Unfortunately small IFAs lack the all especially investment. Small IFAs do not have the money to invest in their business. I hope AMCs and SEBI help them out.
