It is a good idea. However, one more alternative can be explored wherein the redemption amount can also be uploaded directly in e-wallet on his mobile. The investor can make the payment for his purchases or transfer his amount from his e-wallet.

Marvellous idea. Marketing solved. An important need in every financial plan achieved. I wish every AMC takes this up. SEBI should accept this game changing idea. A simple nomenclature change could do wonders: solve a major need of investors & bring in good AUM.

I am surprised why AMCs is not taking it seriously.
All said and done getting funds from MF requires at least one day where as FD with Bank can be liquidated in an hour. Anyway its a good idea but for Plastic card I am very much scared as I have a horrified experiance with ATM Card launched by a leading Mutual fund.
