Did AMFI/SEBI Listen? I devolped Cancer and got busy in my treatment and during that my ARN Got expired. I Requested for exemption of exam but ready for training. As advisory is only my work, my source of income got stucked. Repeated request fails to listen AMFI/SEBI.Can we all ring the door bell of our masters so that in future no one passes thro this situation.

Yes , I agree with you , SEBI and AMFI shall come up with some relaxations , to suit to this kind of special situations.Also , they shall come up with provision to waive of the requirement of examination/training , for advisors , who have put in a certain amount of experience like 3 years or 5 years or so( or any other meaningful criterian ). In the meanwhile , to face such situations , we shall start plannig for succession ( within the family , within friends and other colleagues in the IFA community , so that , it would come handy and some one will be there to carry on the business further seamlesly ).

Of course it is expected that SEBI/AMFI should provide some solution in such cases. Hope we hear from the authorities asap. Mr Harjinder, get well soon.

Really feel sorry on part of Amfi as amfi doesnt care about FA. There must be so exclusions to keep the moral of industry high.
