In a direct credit era all AMCs are releasing per month brokerage irrespective of the amount.

Dear Premanshu Das, it depends upon the sole discretion of AMCs. Some AMCs fix it at Rs 500/-, some AMCs don''t have such restriction and they release whatever amount arrive at the month end. Earlier , AMCs used to send brokerage cheque to distributors. If the amount is low the cost of postage& processing are not justified, that may be a reason to hold and carry forward to next month. But now payments are credited directly to the distributors account, so , relatively lesser cost . That''s why more AMCs are releasing the amounts immediately.
