As we live in mumbai where appx population is above 2 crores (including thane districts) and we don''t know everybody even in our residence area also. So it is but natural if anybody is giving a ready database of good customers any body can fall prey. As advised by all agents - pl do your fishing yourself only. Thx again for alerting other advisors.

As others opined there is no short cut to real success, reach your nearest neighbours , relatives, friends & well wishers to create an initial client base. By servicing them you will be more confident to pitch products or solutions to new clients. Spending more good quality time with your clients will surely help you in generating business. Word of Mouth publicity of the existing clients is the best way to develop business. All the best.

I am also the victim of Indianmoney.com. They are fooling the Consultants dealing in Life & General Insurance. I think Indianmoney.com are white collar robbers.

Dear Friend Now that you have had a bitter experience learn and realise that the best leads are got through your existing clients. True it is lot of painful and slow process but it gaurantees success in the long run. Sorry to learn that you lost your money but ..... For attracting new clients you can also talk to the AMC or National Distributor you are empanelled with they help you with couriering material and one pager. All the best for your bright future in asset management business.

I too received a call from Indian Money recently. I asked them to provide leads and assured I will pay them the Rs 100/- per lead if genuine. Since they refused, I asked for referrals made to any ARN holder with whom I can check their authenticity. When they refused, I said I will not subscribe when all that they will be doing is pick up some data base and forward some contacts. So Mr Thakurdesai, the best way to gain leads is to literally WALK to your friends and relatives and then immediate family and talk your way to their hearts to deal with you. Once you win their heart, you win their trust by demonstrating your advisory skills. All you need is 100 good clients to make decent money. All the best.

Thank God.I m receiving calls from this company.They r making tall claims like this,but I could not believe and that is why I m not paying any attention to them.We can generate leads on our own.Why should we depend on them.

Thanks Mr.Vidyanand for bringing this fraud out. There are many such frauds conducted with cleverness and boldness. These people think they will never get caught. I totally agree that we must unite and fight such criminals.

they all are fraud ,distributing fake leads , & if there is any true lead than that too is distributed in 10-15 members & the clients are also very fussy bcoz already they had been approached by numereous broker so never go for this leads instead of this go for cold calling or do some venue mktg.

Dear Mr. Vidyanand, I am in this industry for last 26 years first as an employee and now as a distributor. One thing is very clear this business runs only on faith you have in your distributor. Even if so called agency would have had to give you leads I doubt how many would have had turned as your clients. No one hands over hard earn money to a unknown person. Certainly not in Mumbai. So please leave away the thought of exapanding your business in this fashion. Shri A. p. Bodke has nicely suggested how to settle in this business. So forget about the agency you have paid and dont waste your time which is not going to yield any result

All such leads are ridiculous. One thing we must understand that if they have such good leads with them, why can''t they themselves open a financial advisory wing and do the business themselves. This is just a way of making money for themselves. Better understand now and don''t fall under their trap. The best leads are the refferals from clients. I request all my advisor friends to kep a distance from such calls.

Similar experience with Indianmoney.com, I was told I would get some 30 genuine leads for insurance. From last Dec, this number has still to be completed. Most prospects do not know what they want, insurance or otherwise. Secondly, within a day of your getting the lead, it gets passed on to somebody else as well, so the customer gets irritated on being contacted by two or more persons who got his number for the same activity. Sometimes the prospect''s budgets are so low that insurance is hardly worth considering for them, yet they expect wonders or are misguided accordingly by IM staff. All in all, IM is quite a joke, yet they had a write up on one of the websites praising them.

I have come to know from some of my local colleagues that Indian Momey Staff are not ethical people. They are totally different pre sales & after sales. They don''t even bother to pick our phone or respond to our mail after getting the money into their bank. Their leads are not of any value.

I have also suffered in July/August 2013 when I subscribed Indian Money for getting insurance leeds of HNI clients. To my surprise they were forwarding me the leads of the people who were not even earning any income.They were simply forwarding the names of the persons who so ever visited their site IndianMoney.Its a clear case of breach of trust by the company to cheat the community of Advisors.I fully agree with Mr.Vidyanand to fight collectively against such fraud companie s who befooling the Iinnocent ADVISORS.

Mr Vidyanand, sorry to know abt ur experience in getting ''leads''. We have grown from scratch in this profession not by depenending on the "so called" leads. You have to work hard in generating leads by urself. Remeber that ''There is no short-cut to success'' in this competative world. 1st: explore the natural market i.e.near and dear ones, neighbours and their friends-relatives etc. If u follow this, u will have at least 100-200 leads (real ones) in ur portfolio within a span of 3-4 months. 2nd: If u service this chunk with proper guidance for finacial planning as per their individual needs and keep them updated about the market scenario-both Debt & Equity- with fair (not with selfish motive) evaluation, i think u need not look for any other sources for the ''leads''. Rather ur kitty of real genuine leads will go multiple in few months of time. Just try out with 10 prospects around u and see the difference.

In the financial advisory field, you have to be confident. Always talk to friends and relatives about your advisory profession but do not beg for business. Also Talk about quality of after sales service, confidentiality etc. Initial problems will be there. But whosoever becomes your client, give him good service.

I have also been cheated by Indian Money. Moreover they keep on calling me many times in a day to take further package.

some 4-5 years ago I had a bad experience with Just Dial.the leads were basically competitors who wanted quotes for life insurance. when I told them about this ,they said I should have the ability to convert ! Not a single inquiry was genuine. I had also paid about Rs 5000.

I also paid i think some 4-5000 2-3 years before but not a single lead conversion. Last year Indian money.com assured that this time they improved and providing genuine leads. I paid 3000. They said they will exchange if not converted. So far they given 2 leads. Not bothered to see that 20 leads were given or not. I tried to contact ,every time new person come and will say query will be attended. Now it is near one year they are keeping quite. I also lost interest. Another worst thing is even after subscribing 8-10 calls come to get subscription. Till they receive money they are after us. Once money is paid to them we have to after them. Very bad experience.

online companies never provide the genuine leads .Start with ur relatives ,friends,near & dears .if u provide good services ,u will never be short of leads.U can also give phamphelets in local paper for the services provided by u

i have also paid some 3000/- for(they say it as exclusive leads) 15 leads three years before ,but its only mobile numbers of my locality ,when i called them they replied not interested, only relationship and referral gives us new cusutomers

Dear give better service to your existing custmer.They will give u best leads in rewards.

The leads provided by them don''t even fulfil the basic criteria e.g. I have asked for leads of my city & the leads provided by them doesn''t belong to my state even. They are cheaters. I am going to complain about them on various Platforms.

Even we went through the same experience. Normally we dont believe in such leads or cold calling but we tested this company''s package of 10 leads and lead quality was worst. Talking with such leads was a horrible experience. The company people keep calling us again and again saying they will give good replacements but we don''t wish to waste our time once again. As one of our investor says rightly anyone can cheat you only once not again and again.

If they have good lead, then why they will sell it to you? They themselves can make them customer earn commissions years together instead of the few thousand rupees you give!!!!

They appears to lure people and ditch i encountered the same problem ,but for a limited test lead of 10 and all are useless. They told me its trail,but i need to pay Rs 2500.But when i asked for regular lead poor response and after some time in 2013 i stopped calling them.
