Why claw back the brokerage? No. of comments:0 Rajesh Luhana , Jaipur , 74556 On 29-Jul-2015We know that every scheme has a lock in period (except liquid). If the investor withdraws the money during lock in period, amc charges an exit load.
In such cases, there is a claw back clause for distributors also and the brokerage paid to the distributor is taken back by the amc.
Now my question is who keeps the brokerage (which is taken back) and why?
Logically AMC is charging exit load and keeps that with herself. Then why the distributors are forced to return the brokerage?
Why the amc keeps both exit load and the brokerage?
