Last week, Himanshu Vyapak discussed the launch of Business Easy - an industry first CRM platform for IFAs brought to you by Reliance MF (Click Here). Its early days yet, but over 3000 IFAs have already registered themselves on Business Easy, and some have begun actively exploring it. We spoke to a few of these early adopters to get a sense from them on what they think of Business Easy and how they think it can help them drive business better.

I think this is a very good initiative from Reliance MF. I came to know about Business Easy at the recently held 4th annual Wealth Forum Platinum Circle Advisors Conference, in Mumbai. I have begun using it, though I can't say I am fully conversant with all its features. I find the snapshot very useful - it gives me a quick update on my business - sales, redemptions, business volumes etc. I have started using the campaigns feature to communicate ideas to my clients. I think one feature that will be very useful for IFAs is the lead management feature. I have just started using it and hope it will help me drive new business. As I explore the platform, I am also finding some gaps - which I have communicated to the RMF team. For example, in service requests, while I am able to send an email statement of capital gains to my clients, the regular statement cannot be emailed - that is available only via physical form. But, I think these issues will get sorted out. Overall, I think this is a good value add for IFAs and I am keenly exploring all aspects of Business Easy to see how best it can help support my business.

Business Easy is an industry first online portal of Reliance Mutual Fund dedicated to all the categories of Distributors, free of cost, which fulfils all the needs under one umbrella round the clock (24 x7). RMF was providing a lot of information to us even earlier, but the main difference now is that it is all available in one place, online and is therefore accessible 24X7 to us.

Now, Distributor can view,mail, download and print a variety of information like :



(a)Features and performance of product (b ) Fact sheet (c ) one pager of Product (d) all kind of application and service forms (e) Statement of Accounts (f) Last five transactions (g )NAV (h) Dividend details (i) Contact details of investors and their Birthday & Marriage Anniversary with greetings facilities by mail or SMS etc etc

The lead Management and appointment recording facilities with alerts are very useful. Market updates, news, articles and review by experts are also useful. Snapshot report is really good - it has AUM of Distributor with Nos of Investors, SIP Nos, category wise break up of Purchases, Redemption on month to month and cumulative , Top Investors , Ranking within the region and pan India , Commission details, KYD & Self declaration details,Validity of ARN Code, KYC Link ,online transaction link, Commission Structure, PLP Programme details, Edge and Investors education articles. Distributors can post their query online and get it resolved quickly online. There is no need to maintain constant follow up with ops people for query resolution.

I have been actively giving my feedback to RMF on various features of Business Easy to make it more comprehensive. I think this will certainly help us enhance our business volumes as well as our service quality.

Business Easy is a good portal and allows us to enhance our business communication with our clients. We can provide in-depth information on all Reliance schemes. A very useful facility is the comparison of various funds - across industry - on various parameters. This allows us to provide high quality information to our clients. This, together with all the abridged reports on markets helps us enhance the quality of client communications significantly.

One feature that can really be used well is online marketing campaigns using email and sms. The portal supports lead generation and also gives good quality business MIS. There is a lot of help on back end operational aspects through this portal.

We can raise and solve client queries online through this portal, which helps enhance our service quality. I think this is a portal that can develop into a virtual office for a distributor.
