I do my Mutual Fund business through NJ India.
The reason I chose NJ India because when I started this Advisory business, I was a single man army. I myself was the Manager and I myself was the clerk.
NJ India through its single window appealed very strongly to me, as I did not need to go to multiple AMCs and also I had a dedicated Relationship Manager assigned to me.
And as my business improved, this facility only helped more and more as my AUM shot up and so did my number of clients.
But, strangely, even as my income did go up, I observed that none of the AMC people knew even as I did more that 1l sip with them.
It took time for me to understand that for these AMCs, they dont know Srikanth Matrubai but know only NJ India.
And, I crave for recognition which I would have got if I had done DIRECTLY.
What is your view??
Should I slowly move DIRECT or stick to NJ India?
