                                Renewal of ARN

Normally an ifa will go for renewal of his ARN  2-3 months before expiry.Suppose unfortunately he meets an accident or faces some very serious situations such as critical medical treatment of his family member or even up to death of any family member. In such case he will not be able to do cpe/test and submit his renewal application before expiry of his ARN.He does not get his due and hard earned UPFRONT and TRAIL commission on ongoing old sips registered before expiry of ARN during the period when his ARN is invalid as per AMFI definition. He does not get any helping hand and instead his hardships are increased.

I am just giving insurance sector example of INDIA.

An insurance agent can renew his licence within one year of expiry. The best part is that his licence is renewed from the date of expiry only even if he renews it after 2-3 months.

After all we are human beings with emotions. We should not have inhuman laws, rules and regulations.I do not believe that any AMC or AMFI is interested in not paying commission to ifas.Rules and regulations must have sense and flavour of humanity.

I request every concerned organisation/institution to look into the matter and do the needful in future and also in past cases if any.

I find in the discussion forum that there is a serious and great problem with ARN renewal issue.I request the concerned authority to solve and make the thing easy for the IFA

I think this is a great concern in for humanity and good sense will prevail on the regulators to save the IFA community from harrassment.
