While many IFAs chose to leave this business in the last 5 years consequent to regulatory changes and market volatility, some young brave hearts did the opposite : they actually chose to set up financial advisory practices in these difficult times. Some of these brave hearts have gone on in the last couple of years to make a mark for themselves in their markets, not just in terms of business volumes, but very importantly, by focussing on doing the right thing for their clients. They represent the GenNext for the IFA fraternity - young, confident, very focussed and very client-centric. Wealth Forum felicitated 4 such emerging advisors at the 4th annual Wealth Forum Platinum Circle Advisors Conference, on 26th July 2013. Partnering Wealth Forum in this initiative is SBI Mutual Fund, which presented the 2013 awards.
Mr. Deepak Kumar Chatterjee, MD & CEO, SBI Mutual Fund said, "We are very happy to be associating with Wealth Forum in this initiative of identifying and recognising young talent in the distribution business, through the medium of these awards. Youth always bring in new ideas and new vigour that helps everybody work towards raising the bar in any business or profession. We hope that these awards motivate many more young professionals to take up the distribution business and serve many more investors well in the years to come.'"
